Federated Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, Edo State Council felicitates with Egor HOLGA, Dr. Igbinigie on 56th birthday

The leadership of Federated Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, has felicitated with the Head of Local Government Council of Egor, Dr. Igbinigie. O on his 56th birthday. Speaking at the HOLGA office, chairperson of the Federated Chapel, Comrade Mercy Onyenweli, said when she got the wind of his birthday, she thought it wise to lead members of her executives to join in the celebration. She described Dr. Igbinigie as an astute technocrat whose vision has led to the revamping and redefinition of how a local government council should be runed. Comrade Onyenweli said the harmonious relationships between the workers and the HOLGA is yielding positive results and that everyone can attest to it. Onyenweli said it will not be out of place if other heads of local government councils could come to borrow a leaf from Egor HOLGA on how he runs his council so that they too can also achieve same feat. Outcry in Uteh community receives government intervention...... Nehikhare.

  At about 4pm on Saturday, October 5, 2022, Edo State Government's attention was drawn to the  wanton construction of a perimeter fence on a road in the Uteh Community, upper mission area of Benin City with impunity. In a statement signed by the commissioner for Communication and orientation,Hon Chris Nehikhare, the video complaint, identified the proprietor of Divine Providence School Palace Road, Uteh community, upper mission extension as the person illegally grabbing land and attempting to annex same. Consequently, an Enforcement Team from Ministry of Physical Planning, Housing, Urban and Regional Development led by the Hon. Commissioner, Isoken Omo, visited the site today, Sunday October 6, 2022 and reclaimed the road.
