Gunmen abducted over 300 school girls in Government secondary school, Zamfara


Suspected gunmen have kidnapped some students of Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara local government area of Zamfara state .it was gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of Friday, February 26.
A resident of Kawaye village identified as Sadi Kawaye who confirmed the story said  that his daughters, Mansura and Sakina were among those abducted.
“I’m on my to Jangebe now to see the situation myself. I was told they invaded the school at about 1am,” he added.
It was also gathered that the vigilantes in the area exchange gunfire with the kidnappers but were over po were as the gunmen succeeded in taking the girls away.

The honourable member representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. ( Barr.)
