StandUp for Women Society Edo State Chapter Congratulates Okonjo-Iweala



The  StandUp for Women Society (SWS) Edo State Chapter, a non-profit organization with specialty for women centred advocacy has congratulated Dr Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her emergence as the first female Director General of the World Trade Organization, WTO. 
In a release jointly signed by Liberator Seigha Egbuson, State Chairperson, Lib.Bisi Akpaida, State Organizing Secretary and Lib. Amowie Ami Aiguobarueghian, Public Relations Officer, the organization praised the resilience, and commitment of the WTO boss to Nigeria's socio-economic and political stability and advancement and on the global stage, noting that her overall wealth of   experience as an economist and administrator per excellence earned her the job. 

"You have made womanhood so proud and are worth celebrating as a role model, and for breaking beyond the glass ceiling of gender limitation and stereotypes to emerge a global icon." the statement reads. 

It further stated that the feat which Dr Okonjo-Iweala has attained is not for Nigerian or African women alone but for women the world over.

Nigerian Society of Engineers Confer Fellowship on Engr. Abraham Osezuah

The Fellowship which is the highest honour in the engineering profession in Nigeria, was conferred on Engr. Abraham Osezuah (FNSE) at the Quarterly Dinner/Award of Fellowship of the society held last Wednesday, 26 July in Abuja. APC Governors’ Visit To Jonathan :- an indication that Nigeria was Better With PDP

In a statement signed by the National publicity secretary  Kola Ologbondiyan , the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asserts that the visit by governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to former President Goodluck Jonathan has further affirmed that Nigeria, as a nation, was better under the governance of the PDP. The visit, which is a clear endorsement of the acceptability of the PDP administration, also indicates that the APC, in 2015,  only created artificial symbols of misgovernance, corruption and other alleged misgivings just to discredit PDP and grab the levers of power to achieve their selfish desires.
