FESTUS ALENKHE MOVEMENT (FAM), FELICITATES WITH CRUSOE OSAGIE ON THE ARRIVAL OF TWINS TO HIS FAMILY

The Festus Alenkhe movement (FAM) , a non governmental organization promoting the chairmanship aspiration of Mr Festus Alenkhe in the forthcoming Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State chapter election, has joined other well meaning individuals and groups across the state to felicitate with Mr Crusoe Osagie, the Special Adviser on Media to Edo State Governor, on the safe arrival of a set of twins to his family 

As soon as the news of the safe delivery of the Crusoe's twins filtered into town, all the journalists hanging out around the NUJ press centre in Benin as at the time  switched into a celebratory mood, to celebrate the blessings of God in the family of Mr Crusoe Osagie

Mr Alenkhe's congratulatory message to the Crusoe's family is contained in a letter personally signed by him. 

In the letter, Alenkhe, who is highly tipped to win the Edo NUJ chairmanship election scheduled for December, due to his vast clout and acceptance by colleagues, expressed profound gratitude to God on behalf of the Crusoe family for the safe delivery of the twins as well as the stable condition of their mother. 

He also offered prayers for the continuous showering of divine blessings on the Crusoe family. 

The NUJ chairmanship hopeful described Mr  Crusoe Osagie as a dependable ally of pen pushers in the state and wished the latest additions in his family will take the cordial relationship between him and NUJ member a notch higher.

Edo 2024: Crisis Brew in Edo APC Over Oshiomhole's Endoresement of Preferred Candidate

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Edo State may be heading into the September 21, 2024 Governorship election as a divided party, if the romours of imposition of Mr. Dennis Idahosa as his preferred candidate is true. NAWOJ Demand justice for her member assaulted by Ex_husband

. The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has noted with concern, the alarming spikes in the cases of physical and domestic violence against women by their spouses. The ugly development is becoming worrisome, reprehensible, dastardly thus, totally unacceptable . It is particularly worrisome to note that in the month of August 2022 alone, there were three documented cases of wife battery that inflicted serious physical injuries, mental torture, dehumanised sanctity and dignity of victims by their husbands in the country. One of the sad cases, is confirmed dead from the alleged  unfortunate violence.
