SERGIUS OSEASOCHIE OGUN FOUNDATION CELEBRATES THE YULTIDE WITH ORPHANAGES IN ESAN LAND

  In line with her annual tradition of celebrating Christmas with the less privileged and the needy, Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation (SOOF) today stormed Adoration of the Holy Orphanage Egoro-Amede, Catholic Chess Orphanage Uromi and Zuma Memorial Orphanage Irrua all in Esan Land, Edo State of Nigeria to celebrate the glorious birth of the Master Saviour with the orphans.  The foundation donated food items and gifts to the three orphanages. In their brief remarks, SOOF officials conveyed the warm felicitations of the foundation’s President and honourable member, House of Representatives, Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency, Rt Hon. (Barr.) Deacon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun, who was unavoidably absent, to the children and their custodians. Gender Based Violence: Edo NAWOJ Solicits Support to address menace

As the world marks 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence,  the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ Edo State Chapter has  call for the campaign to end the challenge of violence against women and girls in the State. This was contained in a release signed by the the state Chairperson, Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan  and the Secretary Comrade Rosemary Okoduwa respectively in Benin City. According to the statement, ending violence against women and girls should not be an option but a priority, as it frowned at the rate of abuse melted to women and girls in the state. The Association declares its agreement with the theme "Orange the World: End Violence against Women Now!" with the campaign that runs every year from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December. The release pointed out that women are always at the end  of crisis or challenges, such as war, conflicts, pandemic, climate disasters...
