SERGIUS OSEASOCHIE OGUN FOUNDATION CELEBRATES THE YULTIDE WITH ORPHANAGES IN ESAN LAND

 

In line with her annual tradition of celebrating Christmas with the less privileged and the needy, Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation (SOOF) today stormed Adoration of the Holy Orphanage Egoro-Amede, Catholic Chess Orphanage Uromi and Zuma Memorial Orphanage Irrua all in Esan Land, Edo State of Nigeria to celebrate the glorious birth of the Master Saviour with the orphans. 

The foundation donated food items and gifts to the three orphanages. In their brief remarks, SOOF officials conveyed the warm felicitations of the foundation’s President and honourable member, House of Representatives, Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency, Rt Hon. (Barr.) Deacon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun, who was unavoidably absent, to the children and their custodians. The visibly elated children who could not contain their joy prayed God to continue to prosper and bless the foundation to do more for humanity. 

On a yearly basis, Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation donates food commodities, relief materials and cash gifts to widows, orphans, prison inmates to mention but a few. Over the years, this has been the foundation’s unique way of spreading the amazing love and joy of Christmas because Christ is the reason for the season.

Edo 2024: Crisis Brew in Edo APC Over Oshiomhole's Endoresement of Preferred Candidate

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Edo State may be heading into the September 21, 2024 Governorship election as a divided party, if the romours of imposition of Mr. Dennis Idahosa as his preferred candidate is true. NAWOJ Demand justice for her member assaulted by Ex_husband

. The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has noted with concern, the alarming spikes in the cases of physical and domestic violence against women by their spouses. The ugly development is becoming worrisome, reprehensible, dastardly thus, totally unacceptable . It is particularly worrisome to note that in the month of August 2022 alone, there were three documented cases of wife battery that inflicted serious physical injuries, mental torture, dehumanised sanctity and dignity of victims by their husbands in the country. One of the sad cases, is confirmed dead from the alleged  unfortunate violence.
