Ubiaja Agog As Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation Enrolls NECO/SSCE For 600 Students, Offers Varsity Scholarship To 6 Overall Best students
The administrative headquarters of Esan South East LGA, Ubiaja was gripped with palpable joy and excitement today as Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation (SOOF) disbursed NECO/SSCE enrollment grants to 600 ( Six Hundred) deserving final year students drawn from both public and private secondary schools in Esan North-East and Esan South-East Local Government Areas of Edo State.
The Chief host of the grand presentation ceremony and founding president of SOOF, Rt Hon. (Barr.) Deacon Sergius Oseasochie Ogun who gave his opening remarks before the commencement of the disbursement of the grants to the young scholars enjoined them to work harder to obtain the high mark of excellence in their academic pursuit while stressing the foundation’s readiness to continue to assist indigent but intelligent students.
Dignitaries present at the ceremony which held at Sacred Heart Girls Model Secondary School Ubiaja were accorded the honour of presenting the free NECO/SSCE enrollment grants to the 600 beneficiaries amidst resounding cheers and applause. Each beneficiary received fifteen thousand naira (#15,000).
Similarly, several undergraduates received an annual scholarship grant of #100,000 each, courtesy of the Foundation's Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme.
The 11th edition of the free NECO/WAEC presentation ceremony by Sergius Oseasochie Ogun Foundation was well-attended and a huge successful.
