Legendary Talk Show Host Larry King is dead. He was 87 years old.

The All Progressive Congress, APC Edo State chapter has described PDP response to vital issues in the State as laughable.

Image
The All Progressive Congress, APC, finds it laughable that each time a matter of vital and urgent public importance to the good people of Edo State is raised, the PDP goes bananas and starts chasing shadows instead of focusing on the very critical issue at stake. In a statement signed by the assistant publicity secretary Mr Victor Ofure Osehobo says that the   issue this time around is very clear or let's put it as a question: Is the Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki and his administration taking another N18-billion loan or not? So soon after taking N25-billion loan from the capital market? This is not an attack but a very simple question which anyone can answer. Since all questions have answers, whether good or bad, the wisest thing for the party concerned to do in the circumstances would have been to speak to the issue.  Edo people want to know, what are the loans being collected for? Why is due process being sidelined in the process of seeking and collecting the ...

Land repossession: Octagenerian crys out to Benin Monarch and Edo State Government for intervention

Image
An octagenerian, Pa Solomon Idahosa has appealed to the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II and the Edo State government to wade in and prevent the Enogie of Evboivbioba village in Oredo local government area of the state, HRH Edwin Aigbe Izevbokun and Osakpamwan Eriyo from taking over his land. Pa Idahosa said the duo's act is a pure violation of the Benin monarch's and the state government directive on the ban of the Community Development Association, CDA because the said parcel of land was earlier sold to him by the same traditional ruler in 2005. Idahosa alleged that with the help of Osakpomwan Eriyo also known as "No Molest",  the Enogie invaded the said farm land with armed men, chased away the labourers and destroy some portions of the economic crops with earth moving equipment with the so intent of repossessing it. In a petition to the monarch  through his counsel, Imuentinyanosa Atoe  who said that the then Oba of Benin, Erediauwa of blessed memory gave verdi...

...Accept your serial defeat, get over your obsession with Edo govt treasury, PDP slams Oshiomhole, hireling

Image
...Words of John Mayaki not credible, he is a self confessed liar The Edo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and his hired gun, John Mayaki, to accept the serial defeat suffered in the hands of Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and stop their infantile and unwarranted attacks on the governor and his administration. The State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Chris Osa Nehikhare, in a statement, said Oshiomhole's latest swipe at the governor over an alleged N18bn loan request, delivered through Oshiomhole’s media hireling, Mayaki, demonstrated an acute obsession with propagation of falsehood, lies and alternative facts to curry public sympathy after a most humiliating defeat at the polls. According to Nehikhare, “It is quite unfortunate that we are compelled to once again attend to the rantings from the camp of the former National Chairman of th...

‘Wait on God’: Do Your Part, PDP Replies Buhari Presidency

Image
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says that the dismissive statement by the Buhari Presidency that Nigerians should 'wait on God' for solutions to the insecurity in our country is a direct admission of failure by President Muhammadu Buhari. In a statement signed by the national publicity secretary Mr Kola Ologbodiyan says that the  party's statement has shown clearly that the Buhari administration is completely helpless and has come to its wits end in governance; a development, which validates the position of majority of Nigerians that President Buhari is grossly incompetent and should step aside. This statement further goes to confirm that the Buhari’s administration has outlived its usefulness, if it had any, and that the promises and assurances made by President Buhari, on the fight against insecurity amount to mere lip service, the PDP further declared. While we believe in the powers and interventions of God, our party restates that such comes with the comm...

Court dismisses Ize-Iyamu, APC certificate forgery case: says Obaseki qualified to contest and duly elected

Image
. Edo PDP congratulate Governor Godwin Obaseki on the resounding victory he recorded in the Federal High Court Abuja. It is a testimony to the fact that this government was enthroned by the wish of Edo people and had the blessings of God. We advised APC that it was again traveling the road of ignominy instead of joining the government to build a society where hard work is rewarded, where hate should be condemned and love for a prosperous state the driving spirit of our being. Our advice was ignored!  It is now clear that Edo APC and the news and stories  they propagate are built on falsehood, social greed, intellectual imbecility and pathological irresponsibility. Edo people are advised not to only punish them with their votes on election days, but to consider them public enemy number one henceforth!  However, if Each and every one of them own up to their role, tender well-intentioned apologies and commit to be of good character, show respect to Edo people, to...
