Communities in Esan west constituency set to get Electricity Transformer.


The Speaker Edo State House of Assembly Rt Hon Marcus Onobun (ksc) has taken delivery  of Seven high capacity, Cooper coil  Electricity Transformers to light up  Communities in Esan west constituency.

The seven Transformers  provided by the Hon Speaker are to be distributed to several communities in the constituency .

In an earlier distribution of Transformers some communities including Iruekpen and  ojo street in ihumudumu  benefitted .

As part of his campaign promises , RT Hon Marcus Onobun ( ksc) said he would ensure he attracts several social amenities including good road , portable water and electricity to the constituency to ensure the constituency is not left out in the development agenda of Governor Godwin Obaseki.

The seven newly acquired high capacity, Cooper coil Transformers will be distributed to some other communities who did  not benefit in last year's distribution .

Edo 2024: Crisis Brew in Edo APC Over Oshiomhole's Endoresement of Preferred Candidate

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Edo State may be heading into the September 21, 2024 Governorship election as a divided party, if the romours of imposition of Mr. Dennis Idahosa as his preferred candidate is true. NAWOJ Demand justice for her member assaulted by Ex_husband

. The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has noted with concern, the alarming spikes in the cases of physical and domestic violence against women by their spouses. The ugly development is becoming worrisome, reprehensible, dastardly thus, totally unacceptable . It is particularly worrisome to note that in the month of August 2022 alone, there were three documented cases of wife battery that inflicted serious physical injuries, mental torture, dehumanised sanctity and dignity of victims by their husbands in the country. One of the sad cases, is confirmed dead from the alleged  unfortunate violence.
